Ageing of Creditors Balances

This report shows the overdue payments of the invoices received according to five user defined ageing classes.

To get here, go to Accounts/Purchases and Sales/Creditors Reports/Ageing of Creditors Balances.  A screen that looks as follows will appear:

• Reporting Date: Enter the date that you want to generate the Ageing of creditors Balances report e.g "16/09/2020".
• Creditor Analysis: If you want to analyze the ageing of different creditor's categories separately then choose creditors analysis category from the drop-down boxes for "Creditors Analysis 1/2/3" (please see the topic Support Files/Analysis Codes Creditors). To get report on all categories mark the check-box "Check for all". 
• Creditor Analysis: Creditor Analysis 1, 2 and 3. Select the Creditor analysis category for which you want to generate the Creditor ageing report.

• Note that Creditor Analysis contain user defined categories of creditors which are used for analysis of the Ageing of Creditors Balances report. These categories can be used to classify creditors by a specific setting. For example the category can be based on location like regions e.g. "Western". The creditor analysis will provide a basis for the analysis of different creditors by ageing classes.

• Classes: The classes 1 to 5 are defined according to the number of days the payment is overdue. Loan Performer offers you a default classification, but you can enter the number of days which is appropriate to you for each of those five classes.
• Currency: From the drop down list select the currency in which the report should appear, e.g., "UGX".
• Print Order: From the drop down menu,choose the order in which you want your report to print. There are two options: by Creditor's code in ascending order or by Creditor's Name - in alphabetical order.
• You can also choose the range of pages of the report you want to print by clicking the radial-button "Print" and the radial-button "Pages" then enter page numbers and click "OK" and a report like one below will appear:

• You can print this report in other formats, like, PDF file, Excel file or DBF file. While you can't make changes in the reports presented in Loan Performer format, you can make those changes in other formats.
• Click the radio-button corresponding to the format you choose. You will see the window, where you should indicate the drive, the folder, where you want to store the report, and the file name of the report with the correct extension. For example, you want to store the report in Excel format on the drive "c:" in the folder "Lpf Reports" as file "Ageing of Creditors Balances". You have to enter c:\Lpf Reports\Ageing_Creditors_Bal.xls. Press the button "OK". To view the stored report go to "Explore" and check for the folder and the file you have created.
• You can as well "Create Graph" by clicking on that option and following the steps on "Graph Wizard" screens.
• Click on the Close button to cancel report generation and to quit the screen
